Our Nebraska guest ranch and lodge is home to many different species of flora and fauna found here in SE Nebraska. There are many opportunities for outstanding photographic shots of flowers, animals, birds, sunsets, storms, etc., during every season. You will be amazed at the photo opportunities here at our Nebraska ranch.

Our location is situated in an area that is part of a main flyway for migrating waterfowl. Some species seen are Canadian Geese, Snow Geese, Blue Geese, Mallard Ducks, Wood Ducks, Teal Ducks and more. You also may get the opportunity to observe them nesting and raising their young either in nests, grass areas or near the water.

Nebraska is a great place for photographing sunsets, sunrises, snow, ice, fog or just about anything else Mother Nature will provide us. You will be amazed at the colors and beauty of Nebraska sunsets. Big Blue Ranch is a great place for taking weather photos in Nebraska when you are photographing nature and wildlife.

There are many different wildflowers, native prairie grasses, and beautiful critters such as butterflies, hummingbirds and more. With the many different seasons and changes in the weather, you will have the opportunity to photograph in many different lighting conditions and situations.
